7 Surprising Insights About How Gen Z Wants to Learn

There is a new generation entering the workforce this year and they are notably different from their Millennial colleagues.

Gen Z, or those born between 1995-2010, grew up in a post-internet world. As a result, their context and the ways in which they learn are different than the generations that grew up in the pre-internet world. Not only were they affected by the rise of social media and mobile, but they also grew up in a world where on-demand and content binging was the new normal.

But rather than hypothesizing about how Gen Z wants to learn, we decided to just ask them.

We surveyed over 2,000 Gen Z workers and then compared their learning preferences with the expectations of 400 L&D professionals to see where there was alignment and where there could be misunderstandings.
