With employees working remotely during the pandemic, Flybits found an opportunity to create a cohesive learning and development strategy to better support employees’ growth. Ad hoc learning with no clear path to success
Prior to the pandemic, employees interested in training and development placed individual requests for courses and other resources. After noticing a dramatic drop in requests when work became remote, Flybits realized they needed a clear strategy and centralized solution to give employees access to training.
THE SOLUTION
A cohesive learning and development strategy
Flybits’ first step was to make LinkedIn Learning Hub available to all employees with a company-wide license. After many early adopters jumped on board, the high level of demand and enthusiasm for learning at Flybits was apparent. They began to work with managers to help support employees with individual learning paths based on their needs and goals. In turn, employees were encouraged to look beyond day-to-day tasks and work towards their professional goals.
